A VEHICLE parked at the end of Johnstone Street has become the subject of concern among some Annan residents, as it appears to have been stationary for over a fortnight.

The black Nissan was first noticed during the Riding of the Marches event on July 4 and is parked near the corner of Johnstone Street, close to the top of the moat.

Some residents have raised concerns about its location on the bend, saying it may affect visibility for motorists and pedestrians using the road and causes disruption to traffic.

The issue was discussed at Annan Community Council’s weekly meeting, where one councillor commented: “It’s been there for weeks and it hasn’t moved.”

It is understood that the vehicle remains parked at the location as of Thursday, July 16.
