Dumfries lift seniors title

THE Dumfries Bowling Association Senior League finals night was played at Glencairn last Wednesday.

The semi final results were: Thornhill 1 28 -31 Dumfries, Annan 19-27 Eastriggs.

And in the final Dumfries beat Eastriggs 30-17.

The Dumfries team were: Skip. J McShane, J Proudfoot, T Gabris, Skip B Parker, S Murray, F Wallace. Eastriggs team: Skip B Robertson, I Glendinning B Smith, skip R Kirk, S Patterson and S Cairns.

Meanwhile, last Thursday the Final of the Empire Exhibition Trophy was played at Beechgrove.

Marchmount lost 86-109 to Lockerbie. The DBA President would like to thank The Lochar Inn for sponsorship and kind donation.
