REGION: Scam gang targeting businesses

POLICE were alerting store managers and other retail proprietors over the weekend about a scam gang which has targeted Dumfries and Galloway. The criminals first came to light on Friday, February 27, when they visited a number of commercial premises across the region. A police spokesman at Dumfries warned store staff to be vigilant.
