Watret wins in Wales

AN Annan farmer is celebrating success at the Royal Welsh Show.

Solway View Ultraviolet, owned by Kevin Watret, was declared the champion of the British Blues by judge Robert Paterson.

And the rosettes didn’t stop there for Kevin, who was placed first in the bull born on/after Jan 2025 with Solway View Vagabond; took a first and second in the heifer class with Solway View Ultraviolet and Solway View Upeach; scooped another second with Solway View Vittorio in the heifer in calf or maiden section, who was also crowned reserve junior female.

Meanwhile, the title of best female went to Solway View Ultraviolet, and Kevin got a third placing in the pairs.
