£3k forestry theft in Dumfries

OVER £3000 of equipment were stolen from a forestry business in Locharbriggs this week

Thieves broke-in to a compound at Tilhill Forestry sometime between Wednesday December 20 last year and January 5 this year.

Sergeant Alan McGowan at Dumfries said: “We want to hear from anyone who may have been past the Tilhill Forsetry yard in Locharbriggs over the festive period and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious.

“Clearly a vehicle must have been used to take the property away and again any suspicious vehicle movements over this period would be of interest to us.  Callers can reach us on the 101 number, quoting PDG 0006740118.”
