Winning ways

THE Dumfriesshire Federation SWI annual curling competition was played at Dumfries Ice Bowl on Monday.

And the winning team was made up of Helen Bell, Tinwald; Anne Gordon, Lochmaben; Rita Mitchell, Collin; and Margaret Harvey, Carronbridge.

They beat the team of Jane Hogg, Mouswald; Margaret Rodger, Mouswald; Linda McMinn, Wamphray; and Susan Drummond, Mouswald.

Federation president Mima Telfer presented the trophy and prizes.
