A DRAMA based on the Lockerbie bombing won four awards at the Royal Television Society Scotland Programme Awards.

The BBC show, The Bombing of Pan Am 103, swept the boards at the prestigious event in Glasgow last Friday night.

Michael Keillor was named best director in a scripted show; Mogwai took the gong for the best original music score, and it won the sound craft award too, while the Short Form prize went to Alastair Mason.

Dan Twist, chair of RTS Scotland: “This year’s outstanding nominees and winners reflect the strength and resilience of a thriving Scottish TV industry, even in the face of widespread sector challenges.”

Parts of the show were filmed in Lockerbie. It was aired last year.
