Oliver joins kirks trust
FORMER MSP Oliver Mundell has joined the board of trustees at Tundergarth Kirks Trust.
He is the ninth member and will bring legal expertise and experience from a decade in politics at the Scottish Parliament.
Oliver is looking forward to working with the other Trustees to help maintain the important site and to continue to grow links with supporters and the wider community.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Tundergarth Kirks Trust and have huge admiration for what Lori and the team have achieved alongside the local community to retain the church and keep this important site in local hands. This has not been an easy task and is testament to the hard work and financial support of many people.
“Over the past decade, I have formed a number of close relationships with individuals, families and organisations linked to Pan Am 103 and I am keen to use this experience and my knowledge of the funding landscape to help support the trust’s work.”
The trust still wants to hear from anybody who would be interested in joining to help with fundraising and building/maintenance work.
