Triple-tastic for petanque family

AN Annandale family are celebrating national petanque success. Jim, Elaine and Jonathan Crombie won the Scottish pétanque mixed triples competition at Macduff, Aberdeenshire. Dad Jim and mum Elaine are members of Annan and Moffat pétanque clubs and their son Jonathan is a member of Inverleith. The family have played in many destinations around the world: last year alone Elaine played in Benin, Africa and came ninth in the world women’s singles. She also played in Thailand in the world triples and in the European women’s triples, coming ninth.
