ANNAN piper Travis McKenna Johnston competed in The Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway Branch of RSPBA solo and pipe band Competition at Sanquhar Academy on Saturday March 22. Travis competed brilliantly in his solo Juvenile 1 Under 14 competition, coming first overall and also winning the Under 14 Branch section. Travis, along with fellow Annan Academy pupil Eva Graham also competed in the 4B pip band section for Dumfries Pipe band, with the Band finishing 2nd in the the competition and coming first in the Branch section.
