Todd departs

ANNAN Athletic have announced the departure of midfielder Josh Todd. The 31-year-old has left Galabank by mutual agreement, allowing him to explore new opportunities. Todd joined the club for a second spell at the beginning of last season and has made over 70 appearances since he returned. Manager Wullie Gibson said: “Toddy came to see me at the start of December and asked if we would allow him to leave if he could find a club closer to home. "He had a change in job and it was proving difficult with the travelling and trying to find a balance. We’re all disappointed to see him move on as he’s a great lad and been a consistent performer but I also had to respect his wishes. "He’s been a good friend of mine for a number of years and everyone at the club wish him all the best for his future. It’ll be a tough one to replace but the squad is taking shape after a difficult time with injuries earlier in the season and we’ll still look to strengthen this window.”
