Special night for Sharks star Young

SOLWAY Sharks made it a third consecutive three-point weekend. On Sunday night, the Dumfries team travelled down to face Romford Raiders where they picked up a fantastic 6-4 victory. Duncan Speirs scored a hat-trick, whilst Jordan Buesa, Derek Osik and Lewis Young, pictured left, also netted. It was an already special night for Young as he made his 150th appearance for the Sharks during Sunday’s away contest. Since joining the club in the 2022/23 season, Young has racked up a total of 90 points. Sharks earned a point on Saturday after a 5-4 overtime home loss to Bristol Pitbulls. This weekend, Sharks travel to face Milton Keynes Lightning on Saturday with a 7 pm faceoff. On Sunday, the Sharks welcome Hull Seahawks to the Shark Tank with a 5 pm face-off.
