Sides set for 2026

WET weather led to the postponement of all four scheduled South of Scotland fixtures last Saturday. Teams now have a free weekend until returning to action on Saturday January 10. Lochar Thistle will see out the year at the top of the table, with Stranraer Reserves hot on their heels – behind only on goal difference. Newton Stewart sit fourth, Creetown are in sixth spot and Wigtown occupy second bottom. The Trammondford Park side defeated St Cuthbert Wanderers last Wednesday night to earn their first league win in over a year. Rory Drysdale and Conor Cluckie got the goals as Wigtown leapfrogged their Kirkcudbright opponents.
