Show time at Langholm

Despite a wet forecast, the day actually turned out to be fine and visitors turned out in force for what's Dumfriesshire's last agricultural show of the season. Judging took place in the morning, while the afternoon was given over to the prize presentations and a packed programme of entertainment in the main ring. Highlights included Cumberland Wrestling, vintage machinery, terrier racing, sheaf tossing and children's sports. Special guests were the Barony Basset hound pack and the trophies were presented by MP David Mundell. [caption id="attachment_14973" align="alignnone" width="680"]
