Body identified as missing angler

Police Scotland state that he has been formally identified as 57-year-old Charles Mellor, who lived in the town. Mr Mellor's body was traced by a diving team from Police Scotland's Marine Unit. It follows an extensive multi-agency search for an angler reported missing while spending an evening fishing beside the river at the north end of the town last week.
