Scrapped haaf netter funds to go to new sculpture

IT was announced at Annan Community Council’s meeting on Monday night that the haaf netter statue had been successfully scrapped. A confirmed total of £642 was raised from the remains of the bronze and stainless steel artwork. And the money will be donated towards the new Annan Art Centrepiece sculpture project which is being spearheaded by Annan History Town.
