Running fest limbers up

A THREE-DAY running festival is taking place in Annandale and Eskdale this weekend.

Athletes from around the region are preparing for the annual ADAC Festival of Running, which features four races over three days of competition.
Juniors are welcome to take part for fun, but under 12s can only enter the mile while 12-16 year olds can take part in up to three events — one of which must be the mile race.
The Festival of Running takes place from today until Sunday.
And there will be a prize for the highest scoring male and female competitors based on the age-grade scoring system.
