Power cut cause unclear

THE cause of a power cut which affected Eastriggs and parts of Annan on Tuesday is still undetermined.

Eastriggs Primary School was forced to remain closed for the day to pupils as a result of no heating and electricity in the morning.

The power went off just after 8 am and was restored three hours later.

Scottish Power say investigations are continuing into the matter. They have also issued an apology to customers for any inconvenience caused.
