Polly is on top of the world

Polly Henderson from Stewartry Wheelers was winner of the Under 14 female race — defeating hot prospect Tea Jensen in the final. Reacting to her victory, Polly said: "I’m delighted to win this year’s ScottishPower Mini Downhill Series. "It’s the fourth time I have won at Fort William. I wasn’t able to compete in last year’s events so it was great to come back and show I was able to win again." She added: "All of the rounds of the series, especially Fort William, are great fun and the girls I race against are amazing competition however they haven’t been able to catch me yet. "Next year I will be racing in the Under 16 category so the competition will be tough but I hope to be back to claim another title."
