MOFFAT Rams lost by a point in their West Division Three clash away to league leaders Glasgow Medics. It proved to be a closely contested encounter, with the Medics claiming a 20-19 win. The hosts edged the first half, going into the break 15-12 ahead, with Rams’ scores coming from captain Max Douglas and Matty Crombie. The second half followed a similar pattern, with both sides battling to gain a foothold and little separating them throughout. The captain hit the scoreboard again with his second try to keep the Rams firmly in the contest, but it was not enough and Glasgow Medics held on for a narrow 20-19 victory. This Saturday will see the team play their first home fixture of 2026, against Glasgow Raptors. Kick off at the Holm is at 2 pm. The kitchen will be open throughout selling hot and cold drinks and snacks and after match hospitality will be at team sponsors Hugo’s.
