The town’s promotions group revealed the good news this week and said: “Now that Halloween is over and thoughts turn to replacing spooky pumpkins with festive fairy lights, we’d like to remind all of the businesses about our Christmas Window competition.
“This year we are incredibly lucky to have some very special judges: the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, currently wowing audiences in London, are going to take time out of their busy schedule, pore over photographs, deliberate, debate and ultimately decide which window or premises in Moffat they think deserves the accolade of being best in town.”
As such, entries should be in place by Sunday November 20 so official photographs can taken. Decorated interiors can also be entered.
They will then be sent to the capital for judging.
