Murdoch pairing claims pairs win

THE Ladies Daytime Pairs Final, sponsored by the ice rink management, was played recently at Lockerbie Ice Rink. The final was between the pairs of Marion Murdoch and Joyce Watkinson and Margaret Rogers and Norma Fears. The Murdoch pairing scored a one on the first end followed by a three on the second end and, despite a comeback from the Rodger pairing, held on to win by four shots to three.
