Mixed fortunes for South sides

ANNANDALE South of Scotland sides have had mixed fortunes as they ramp up their pre-season campaign. Mid Annandale trounced Sunday League outfit Hole I’ The Wa 6-0 at New King Edward Park. Goalscorers for Mids were Cammy Dean, Benji Wagner, a Jordan Harley brace and two goals from two different trialists.

Meanwhile, midfielder Cody McKeeman has left Lochmaben to join fellow South of Scotland outfit Dalbeattie Star. Lochmaben lost 5-4 to Gretna XI in a good competitive contest at Raydale. Upper Annandale kicked off with their first friendly during the weekend. They drew 2-2 with Ruthwell Rovers.
