Mids keeper on the scoresheet . . . again!

THEY say lightning doesn’t strike twice but that’s not the case for Mid Annandale keeper Ciaran Boyes. It comes after the Mids shotstopper astonishingly scored from his own box in his side’s 5-2 Cree Lodge Cup quarter final against St Cuthbert Wanderers. It was déjà vu for Boyes after he had scored from inside his own box earlier in the season. Also on the scoresheet for Mids were Robbie Carcu, Darren Monteith and Thomas Crooks netted a brace.
