Manager Peter Murphy and in-form forward Adam Brooks both scooped up the manager and player of the month awards for January. Brooks scored two braces during the busy first month of the year. [caption id="attachment_57075" align="alignnone" width="327"]

AWARD . . . Adam Brooks[/caption] He said: “It’s obviously great to be recognised and I’m delighted to have won it because it is a sign that things are going well. “But at the end of the day football is a team game and although it is my name on the trophy it is for all the squad. “I couldn’t have scored the goals that I did without them, so it’s an award for us all. Hopefully it is the first of many.” Meanwhile, Murphy said: “I am honoured to accept the award on behalf of the club, staff and players who have shown what we can do as a team. “However, the challenge is to try and achieve it again by having everyone working in the same direction for the second half of the season.”
