Lochar get set for Scottish Cup debut

PLAYERS, staff and supporters of Lochar Thistle are counting down the hours until the club’s first ever Scottish Cup tie – the biggest game in the club’s history. A spot in the coveted knockout competition was the prize for the Heathhall club after they won last season’s South of Scotland League title. And Lochar will represent the division all the way up in the Highlands on Saturday after being drawn away to North Caledonian champions Invergordon. Ritchie Maxwell’s men will travel to Kingussie tomorrow to enjoy an overnight stay before heading to Victoria Park Stadium, Dingwall, on the following morning. Kick off is at 3 pm.
