Keith in Lake District ten-mile race

DUMFRIES Harriers veteran and club chairperson Keith Ainslie was on the move again last weekend in the Lake District, this time to take on the Derwentwater ten-mile road race, widely regarded as one of the UK’s most scenic running routes. While the breathtaking views are often highlighted, the race’s challenging hills are less talked about, but they were no match for Keith. Drawing on his trademark grit and determination, he powered through the undulating course and crossed the finish line in a superb time of 1:25:52. His performance was a testament to his experience and resilience.
