Harriers head to the castle

THREE members of the Dumfries Harriers travelled across the border to Carlisle last month to participate in race three of the Sport in Action Carlisle Castle 5km Series. The trio delivered some fantastic performance. First up over the line for the Harriers was Karrie Milroy leading the charge, fresh off the plane from holiday in Mexico and still smashing it with a time of 28:21. Helen Anderson followed with her signature smile, dipping under the 30-minute mark at 29:50. Jane Lenza, Harrier stalwart, added another race to her tally, finishing strong in 35:59. All eyes are now on race four on August 13 where the ladies will be aiming to beat their previous times. Huge well done to everyone who took part and wore the famous red and white hoops with pride.
