Gibson named League Two Manager of the Month for October

ANNAN Athletic manager, Wullie Gibson, has been awarded the Scottish League Two Glen’s Manager of the Month after securing his side their first unbeaten set of results this season. The Galabank team picked up four points in October with a 1-0 away victory against Stranraer and a 1-1 draw with Stirling Albion. Gibson said: “I am delighted to be named League 2 Glen’s Manager of the Month for October. A big thanks go to my players and staff as it is very much a reflection on how hard everyone has worked and how well we’ve done in recent games.” Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, added: “Hard work and determination paid off for Wullie Gibson and the team at Annan Athletic in October after enjoying a well-earned run of unwavering results. “With four teams in League Two each sitting with 12 points each – including Annan Athletic – it’s still all to play for during November’s matches.
