Friday night football

THERE is a rare Friday night South of Scotland League fixture taking place later this week at Stranraer Academy. Stranraer Reserves host Wigtown and Bladnoch under the lights at the Stuart Binnie Arena. Kick off is at 7.30 pm, entry is £4 and there will be refreshments on sale. And there is more footballing action nearby tomorrow afternoon as Creetown welcome Lochmaben and Newton Stewart entertain Mid Annandale.
