Dumfries rapper's EP defies expectations
EXTENDED PLAY . . . The Out Of Place EP was released last week and has already exceeded 100.000 streams

DUMFRIES teen rapper Joseph Cursare has already surpassed over 100,000 streams of his new EP after only a week.

Joseph started making music as a hobby when he was 10 years old. Joseph then decided to turn it into a career after two years of making beats.

Since then, Joseph has released songs such as Desperado, Thorpe Park, and the Out of Place EP. Joseph has also collaborated with four different producers on his new songs.

Joseph was also scouted and signed onto record label DREAMWRLD after announcing his extended play.

“The Out of Place EP” was released on September 29 and 14-year-old Joseph said yesterday: “I am completely in shock, this is like a dream come true for me.

“My record label DREAMWRLD predicted that may get up to 35,000 listeners in a few weeks. I personally predicted that I would only get around 20,000 in a month.

“However in the total time of six days, my EP hit over 100,000 which I am so happy for because it was no where near to anyone’s predictions.”

Joseph has a YouTube channel, and you can find him on Spotify and Soundcloud. You can also play or download the Out of Place EP here.
