Deveney checks in at Galabank

ANNAN Athletic have confirmed the signing of full back Euan Deveney. The 22-year old has been around the club during pre-season and has also featured as a trialist during friendlies against Greenock Morton and Gretna. He was named as a substitute during the first Premier Sports Cup game against Forfar last weekend but due to very late clearance, Athletic did not get chance to officially announce Deveney as an Annan player before the game. He started his football career with Rangers at youth level, but it was at Kilmarnock that he signed his first professional contract in 2020, while at Rugby Park he had loan spells with Falkirk and Clyde. Deveney made a permanent switch to Airdrieonians in 2022 where he went on to play a crucial part in the club gaining promotion to the Championship. He spent last season with Stirling Albion.
