Cup weekend for south sides

LOCHAR Thistle and Abbey Vale both saw their South of Scotland League games fall victim to the weather last weekend. This Saturday the two teams return to action in cup competitions. Thistle travel to West of Scotland outfit Larkhall Thistle in the third round of the South Challenge Cup, kick off is at 2 pm.

Meanwhile, Abbey Vale entertain Creetown at New Abbey in the first round of the Haig Gordon Memorial Trophy, KO at 2 pm.
