Closed road

A COLLAPSED cattle grid sparked an emergency road closure this week.

Dumfries and Galloway Council on Monday shut the C76a near the McDermid Memorial, between Langholm and Newcastleton.

A diversion route is in place via the A7 and B6357 and local access will be maintained through a side gate.
