The duo have both enjoyed success at their current clubs, with Aaron lifting the League One title with Arbroath and Jordan captaining Lochar Thistle to their first ever South of Scotland championship.
Aaron, 34, joined the Red Lichties in January on loan from Partick Thistle with his experience at centre back helping them over the line to League One glory.
Meanwhile, Jordan 31, has created history with Lochar Thistle already this season with two cup wins and the league title.
But Jordan and his Lochar teammates incredibly have the chance of securing three more cups this month, starting with the Potts Cup on Friday night against Nithsdale Wanderers.
Jordan said: “I’m proud of winning the league with Lochar. I struggled at the start of the season with an ankle injury but I was determined to get back into the team.
“I did struggle with the injury and to be honest around October time I was thinking of jacking it in because of the pain. But I’m so glad I didn’t.
“I always believed Lochar could win the league with the team we have. I’ve signed a new deal for next season now.”
Both brothers couldn’t hide their pride for each others achievements this season.
Aaron said: “I’m proud of Jordan, he’s doing really well and it’s been a really good and successful month for the family.
“We’ll definitely have to organise a wee celebration with the family, but I know Jordan and the Lochar boys have enjoyed themselves after the league win.”
Jordan added: “We support each other, we’re brothers at the end of the day. I’m proud of what he has achieved throughout his career.”
And when asked whether the Muirheads could link up on the field in the future, never say never was the answer!
Jordan said: “It’ll depend on what Aaron wants to do. I’m sure he’ll be able to play professionally for a few more years but maybe one day, the Muirhead brothers can be centre half partners.”
Aaron added: “I’m not saying never, but probably not in the near future.”
