Be wary of battling Sons!
The Doonhamers have improved over the past few weeks and are trying to mount a challenge up the top of the League One standings. That was helped with another home victory over Inverness during the week but Murphy wants his players to keep their feet on the ground. Murphy said: “Our home form has been excellent but we can’t get too excited and ahead of ourselves because we’ve got Dumbarton who are fighting for their lives. “We know in this division that some strange results come up. Everybody is beating everybody. “We’re on a nice little run at the moment but our confidence cannot turn into arrogance. “We have to approach each game the same and see where that takes us. “We’re in a good position at the moment but Saturday is going to be tough. “We’ve got to make sure everyone is right, at it and we’ve got everybody available.” The last time Queens faced Dumbarton ended in last minute heartbreak for them. After Kyle Doherty levelled, an old face came back to haunt Murphy when ex-Annan midfielder Tony Wallace netted a last minute penalty to claim the points. Murphy added: “Tony came off the bench last time for Dumbarton and scored the winner against us. “I’ve had players come back and score against me and he is one of them but he hasn’t been playing for them recently. “He better not do it again!” Murphy also discussed the entertaining midweek 3-2 victory over Inverness. It was an attacking performance that some Queens fans had been shouting out for. Adam Brooks netted twice whilst super-sub Jordan Allan notched the winner for the Doonhamers.
