Albinson signs up at Galabank

ATHLETIC have boosted their ranks with the signing of goalkeeper Charlie Albinson on a deal until the end of this season. The 29-year-old shotstopper is the first player to sign for Annan in the January transfer window, after leaving Hamilton Academical last summer. Albinson came through the youth ranks at Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers before moving north of the border where he spent three years at Ayr United before moving to the Accies in 2024. Galabank manager Wullie Gibson said: “Coming into this window I was looking at strengthening certain positions to improve the squad and I feel the signing of Charlie does this. “He has good experience playing at a higher level and I’m delighted that he’s agreed to join us for the rest of the season.”
