Dumfries by-pass delays after lorry crash

The driver of the Northern Ireland - based articulated HGV, which was carrying a consignment of pig carcasses, was shaken but not seriously injured. Police Scotland state the accident, near Lincluden roundabout, happened around 5.20 am and warned of lengthy delays while a major recovery operation was carried out.
