GREYHOUNDS: Mark's magic triple success

DUMFRIES greyhound Cara was on form over good going at Halcrow Greyhound Stadium, Gretna on Friday night.

The two-year-old bitch, owned and trained by doonhamer Murray Aitken, eased ahead at the second bend of a 280 metres trip to win by half a length.

Runner-up was strong challenger Flaming Patsie from Tony Hopper’s West Cumbrian kennels.

Meanwhile, there was triple success for regular Gretna trainer Mark Little over the same distance.

He took the honours with comfortable victories for Magic Sam, Magic Ozzy and Magic Dizzy.
