The Church Court surgery was named infection prevention team of the year at the BDIA Dental Showcase 2016 in London.
The judges said: “The whole team has reached professionalism and dedication to reaching the highest standards of infection prevention.”
Practice manager Adele Welsh said: “We are so pleased to be bringing this award back to Dumfries and to be able to share it with our patients.
“It is good to see that the hard work that goes on day after day behind the scenes at Church Court is recognised as an important and fundamental part of providing care to patients.”
