THIS pothole on a back road near Ecclefechan must be one of the biggest in the region.

It takes up nearly all one side of the roadway.
And one motorist who was unlucky to hit it over the festive period told DNG Media it has cost them £500 and rising to get their alloy and their tyre fixed.
