Vets’ team celebrate surgery success

A LOCKERBIE veterinary practice is celebrating winning an award for their ‘eye-catching’ town centre base. Dryfe Vets took top honours in the 2023 Practice Design Awards organised by the British Veterinary Hospitals Association. As well as being crowned overall winners, they were first in the ‘Conversion’ category for their Mains Street surgery. The judges were unanimous in their decision, describing it as ‘a hugely impressive and imaginative conversion’. The Dryfe team bought the former supermarket in 2019 and reopened early last year after a £790,000 refurbishment.
