Auctioneer joins team

Cameron Robertson has joined C&D Auction Marts as an auctioneer and fields representative working from Dumfries Mart. He has eight years auctioneering and livestock markets experience and is a well-known figure in the agricultural circles of South-West Scotland. Born and brought up in Dumfriesshire, he comes off a farming family that have been doing business with Dumfries Mart for over a century. He will be conducting the regular prime cattle and cast-cow sales at Dumfries, together with other seasonal cattle and sheep auctioneering duties, and will be focussed on representing the business in Dumfries and Galloway and South Ayrshire advising and assisting with the sale of stock through the marts at Dumfries and Longtown.
