Vehicles stolen from Dumfries yard

Southern Tractors, in Margaretsfield, was ram raided with a number of vehicles stolen between 8.30 pm and 10 pm on Thursday, October 1.

The vehicles stolen include a Ford transit van, Citroen Berlingo van and a plant trailer with a JCB digger. A spokesman for Southern Tractors said: "If anyone has any helpful info can you let us know please? Any sightings of our sign-written van in an odd place would be very useful."

Police Scotland Sergeant Cameron Thomson said: “We were called to a property in Margaretsfield around 10.25 pm on Thursday 1 October. Two commercial vehicles and a yellow digger on a trailer were stolen.

“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
