Van stolen in Dalbeattie

Police are investigating after a van was stolen in Dalbeattie earlier this week.

Between 4.30 pm on Wednesday and 7.50 am on Thursday a Ford Transit pick-up was stolen from Biggars Mill Industrial Estate.

The vehicle, valued at £14,000, has the registration number PX14 RXC and has Paterson Landscaping written on the bonnet and sides.

Constable Tamsin Tyson said: “We want to hear from anyone who may have seen this pick-up on Wednesday night or in the early hours of Thursday morning.

“We also want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area of Biggars Mill on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

“Anyone with information which might help in this investigation is asked to call us on the 101 number, quoting the reference 0620 November 28.”
