Valuation day for local treasures

HAVE you ever wanted to know just how much your treasures are really worth?

Annandale Distillery is hosting a valuation day with specialists from Bonhams Auctioneers next Friday.

Valuations of all things Scottish, including pictures, works of art, silver, jewellery, books furniture, ceramics and glass will be given, and entries will also be accepted for the annual Scottish Sale which takes place in Edinburgh in May.

The Scottish Sale is the premier sale of its type and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

This unique auction has given collectors opportunities to acquire precious articles that represent the art, history and people of Scotland.

Bonhams specialists are holding a series of valuation days throughout Scotland inviting entries for the Scottish Sale.

At Annandale Distillery next Friday they will also be able to advise on the value of other art or antique items, for a small donation of £5 for one item of £10 for three items to support Doddie Weir’s My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

The valuation day takes place on Friday March 22 from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information email [email protected] or call 0131 225 2266.
