The show will go on

AS the country locks down everything from nurseries to building sites, a light remains on the horizon in the agricultural world.

Last week the Royal Highland Show society announced their 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19. But Dumfries and Lockerbie Agricultural Show is, for now, still going ahead.

Scheduled for the first Saturday in August, organisers say they are continuing with planning but will make a final decision in the middle of May.
