Teen show in town
AN ACCLAIMED production aimed especially at teens is coming to Dumfries this weekend.
KID_X is a futuristic love story that looks like a comic book and plays like a video game about a boy with a bionic heart and an insta-famous rooftop acrobat.
Circus, street dance, video projections and an electronic score make up the show, which was part of the Made in Scotland showcase during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019 where it was hugely popular with adults and young people alike.
Director Bex Anson said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing KID_X back to the stage in a Scotland wide tour.
“We can’t wait to bring our unique brand of high energy street dance, circus and live music to family friendly audiences across the country.”
The show is suitable for families and young people aged over eight, with it being particularly relevant for teens fighting phone and technology addiction.
The shows takes place on Friday, March 18.
