Teen on rape charge

The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in private before Sheriff George Jamieson on Tuesday. He was on a petition which involved charges under the sexual offences Scotland Act. No plea or declaration was made and he was committed for further examination and allowed bail.
