Tablet harm warning

A WARNING has been given about illicit tablets circulating in the Dumfries and Galloway area.

Police say the drugs have the potential to cause serious harm to those taking them.

The tablets in question are oval in shape and pale blue in colour and have the wording ‘UPJOHN 90’ imprinted upon them.

A police spokesman said: “Please do not be tempted to take these tablets and anyone taking them who feels unwell should dial 999 immediately.

“Please remember the steps to stay safe such as not mixing drugs and not taking drugs that aren’t prescribed to you or that have been bought online – you have no idea what they contain or the harm they can cause.”
